Dr. Anna Trantham grew up in a small rural town in Northwest Georgia but had very strong ties to Auburn University from the very beginning. She earned both her Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Veterinary Animal Science (with a minor in Business) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Auburn University, making her a proud third-generation Auburn grad.
Throughout veterinary school, she worked in a small animal clinic in Auburn and held various roles at Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine, including serving as a Large Animal Student Resident. Dr. Trantham is passionate about small animal emergency care, rural medicine, and client communication. She finds great fulfillment in case workup, surgery, and witnessing the human-animal bond improve and change throughout all of life's stages. She is greatly looking forward to starting her career as a new graduate at PawMed and is eager to meet, treat, and learn alongside new clients and patients.
