Dr. Erin Watts - Veterinarian

Erin Watts

Dr. Erin Watts has dreamt of being a veterinarian as long as she can remember.

She grew up in Southeastern Kentucky with animals big and small, ranging from chinchillas and turtles to horses. As an undergraduate she was a member of the University of Louisville Polo Team and later the Eastern Kentucky University Equestrian Team. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Watts was a wildlife biologist primarily working with bats, performing endangered species surveys on the east coast and Midwest, until making her way to Northern California to work for the National Park Service. She is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine located in Harrogate, TN.

Coming from primary care, Dr. Watts has a passion for client education and public health as well as caring for geriatric patients and exotics. PawMed has introduced her to her new passion of providing quality care to a variety of patients when the unexpected occurs.

In her free time, Dr. Watts enjoys spending time with her family, including a new baby girl! She also enjoys tending to her small zoo at home, consisting of poison dart frogs, an axolotl, multiple aquariums, a cat and a Newfoundland dog, Maeby, who reigns the roost. She’s excited to be a part of the team at PawMed and looks forward to assisting you and your fur family when the occasion calls.
