Dr. Frame has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember.
She grew up in a small town in upstate New York. She attended Wells College where she earned a Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Business. She attended veterinary school at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. During her time in Grenada, she learned the importance of teamwork and the vet-client relationship and gained a strong interest in small animal surgery. After graduating, she completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the Schwarzmann Animal Medical Center in New York, NY gaining experience in emergency, surgery, internal medicine, radiology, cardiology, and critical care practices. She then continued her training in Surgery, undergoing three surgical internships at the Veterinary Specialty Center in Chicago, IL and MedVet in Cincinnati, OH. During these internships, she gained experience in a wide range of elective and emergency surgeries.
Although Dr. Frame is still passionate about surgery, she elected to move to South Carolina to pursue a different path. She found urgent care medicine to be an exciting new opportunity to explore veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Frame enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves most outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, and fishing. She also loves spending time with her two dogs (Oakley and Bailey) and cat (Myelo).
